In the 2019 film Free Guy, Ryan Reynolds has three pivotal scenes filmed in a coffee shop. Over these scenes, Ryan slowly gains independent thought and realizes he can act beyond his programming. Those scenes were filmed at Brew on the Grid on Franklin Street in Worcester, Massachusetts.
In this video, I begin on Main Street, turning right onto Franklin. Then we have videos coming up Franklin toward Main, and then on Portland Street (the side street) coming toward Franklin. I show footage inside and outside Brew on the Grid.
Thank you so much to the amazing staff at Brew on the Grid. They were very helpful. Also, the coffee is delicious there! Be sure to get whatever kind of coffee you want, although if you want to match the Free Guy plotline, you can get a medium coffee, cream, two sugars. Unless you want to be wild and get a cappuccino :).
