One of the key scenes in the 2013 movie American Hustle is when Amy Adams (the wife) and Jennifer Lawrence (the mistress) meet face to face at Union Station in Worcester, Massachusetts.
Union Station was built in 1911 and is a stunningly gorgeous building. It fell into vast disrepair in the 1970s/1980s but was rescued by the City of Worcester in the 1990s. It was completely repainted and brought back to life. It re-opened in 2000 and is now just beautiful.
I interlace shots from American Hustle with video I took myself at Union Station to show where the scene is situated. Union Station is a public building – you can go for yourself and stand right where Amy Adams, Jennifer Lawrence, Jeremy Renner, Bradley Cooper, and everyone else stood!
The interior of this scene was NOT shot at Union Station – it was shot at the Wang Theater in Boston, Massachusetts.
